NEW BLACK BERRY RELEASES

BLACK BERRY TOUR 9630.
The Tour melds the best of the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 into one slick package. Unfortunately, like the BlackBerry Storm , the Tour lacks Wi-Fi, a disappointing omission for a business-focused device.
In appearance, the Tour shares attributes of the BlackBerry Bold and of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 .But it has the same dimensions as the BlackBerry Storm, measuring 4.4 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.5 inch. At 4.6 ounces, the Tour weighs an ounce less than the Storm, but is slightly heavier than the feather-light Curve 8900. The Tour felt just right for me; the Bold was too large , and the 8900 was almost too thin. And whereas the Bold looks chintzy and the 8900 a bit dull, the Tour has a subtle elegance: The phone's body combines a muted chrome bezel with smooth black rubber and textured plastic, this texture makes us to feel comfortable in-hand .
As with most other BlackBerry handsets of the newer generation, the right spine of the Tour houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a volume rocker, a dedicated camera key (which serves as another shortcut) and a mini-USB port . The left spine accommodates the voice-dialing key and a speaker.

BlackBerry Bold 9700
BlackBerry Bold 9700 is the finest BlackBerry to date, combining the best of the BlackBerry Tour 9630 and the BlackBerry Bold 9000 in a slim and refined package.
The 9700 refreshes itself by incorporating a large hi-res display, touch-sensitive trackpad navigation for smooth scrolling of menu items, 35 hours of music playback, 3.2MP camera for video recording and capturing still shots and 3G/Wi-Fi network to access the web at a more faster speed.
MORE COLORS :
The 9700 transforms its screen from a Half VGA to a High-resolution 480x360 pixel color display that reflects greater clarity, vivid colors and a more enjoyable experience of viewing photos, videos and web pages.
The Bold 9700 has a keyboard similar to that of the Bold 9000, with sculpted keys and thin metal dividers akin to guitar frets. This design is meant to eliminate finger slippage and to enhance the keyboard’s usability. The original Bold’s keyboard felt roomy and ergonomic, due somewhat in part to the handset’s measurements. Though the Bold 9700 has a narrower keyboard.
The 9700’s 2.4-inch display has a 480-by-360 pixel resolution, which is slightly better than the original Bold’s. The display looks quite stunning, especially when you’re viewing pictures and playing back video. One gripe I have about BlackBerry displays, however, concerns their annoying black border; why not make the display bigger and get rid of the border? This seems to be a signature RIM design, but maybe in the next round of devices it will go the way of the trackball and disappear.
The Bold’s browser is definitely its weak spot. Because it isn’t built on WebKit, it simply doesn’t compare to the browsers on the iPhone, the Palm Pre, and Android phones. The browser will default to a mobile site when one is available, and it takes a bit of time to render a full site. That said, OS 5.0 adds some useful features, such as tabbed browsing.
